Call For Proposals is Open

The Wellness Alliance is excited to invite qualified presenters to submit proposals for presentations at our upcoming event, the Annual Wellness Summit, held July 28-30, 2026 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Presenting a session at the Annual Wellness Summit is an opportunity to share your wellness knowledge, experience, and ideas, while building your professional network and standing out as an expert among your peers.

Submission Expectations:

We are looking for high-quality, impactful sessions delivered by qualified presenters. Proposals for sessions that focus on evidence-informed and emerging practices, encourage practical application, and employ engaging instructional methods are highly encouraged.

The Rules:

  • All sessions are to be 100% educational in nature. Commercial or promotional content of any kind will not be considered.
  • Only two proposals per person/organization will be considered. The first two proposals will be accepted for review. Additional proposals will not be considered.
  • Proposals are for concurrent sessions only. We are not accepting proposals for keynotes or preconferences.

The Details:

  • Six concurrent sessions will be selected for each day of the Annual Wellness Summit’s core conference, and each session will be presented once.
  • New this year - Wellness Skill-Building Sessions! There will be three, 60-minute facilitator-led sessions where the goal is to prepare learners to adopt or perfect a skill relevant to the wellness profession. These should be interactive and engaging!

Complimentary conference registration and eligible expense reimbursements will be available to the lead presenter of each session. Co-presenters and panels (with up to 3 panelists and a moderator) are welcome and would also receive complimentary conference registration.

Deadline to submit proposals is Monday, December 22, 2025.

Criteria:

  • Speaker Contact Information (Name, title, address, organization, phone number, email)
  • Professional Biography
  • CV, Resume, or Presenter Experience - must include:
    • Brief description (50-100 words) explaining what qualifies the presenter as a content expert in the proposed topic.
    • Professional and academic credentials.

Not required, but welcome:

  • References

Topic Session Proposal
    • Title
    • Description (3-5 sentences)
    • Three learning objectives
    • Source List
      • To the best of your ability, please include the list of the sources you intend to include in your presentation - research, polling and survey data, literature, etc.
      • Accepted sessions will be required to include citations and references in their presentation slides. This Source List is essentially a draft of the sources you anticipate including.

Session Outline

    • Uploaded a PDF or Word document. For each section of the outline, you must include:
  • a brief description of the content to be presented
  • instructional methods/techniques to be used (e.g., lecture, discussion, experiential learning) to demonstrate participant engagement and application opportunities
  • the timeframe, in minutes, anticipated to present each element

Note: The best outlines will illustrate the use of adult learning practices/theory and include as much detail as possible.

Skill-building Session Proposal

Wellness Skill-Building Sessions are new this year! There will be three, 60-minute facilitator-led sessions where the goal is to prepare learners to adopt or perfect a skill relevant to the wellness profession. These should be interactive and engaging!

Skill-Building topic ideas include but are not limited to:

  • Leading a Team Building Activity
  • Presentation Skills - "How to present your vision"
  • Leading a Mindfulness Meditation and/or Movement Break

  • Description (2-4 sentences)
  • Three Learning Objectives
  • Learning Outcome
  • Session Outline
