How to Become Approved for CE
About the CWP Approved Continuing Education Program
Certified Wellness Practitioner (CWP) Category 1 continuing education (CE) activities are educational programs (workshops, webinars, courses, conferences, etc.) preapproved by the Council on Wellness Certification Excellence (CWCE) for CWPs to apply toward the recertification of their CWP designation. All CWPs are required to earn a minimum number of credits from Category 1 CE activities during each certification cycle to maintain their CWP credentials. Organizations providing continuing education for health and/or wellness professionals may apply for preapproval.
Approval may be granted for the following CE categories:
- Single CE Activity – For organizations seeking approval for only one CE activity or that plan to offer only a few wellness-related CE programs during the calendar year. Applications should be submitted a minimum of 45 business days before the activity begins. Apply now.
- Multiple Activity Provider (MAP) – For organizations offering multiple wellness-related CE activities within a calendar year. Email [email protected] to inquire about being a MAP.
Application Process
- Single CE activity: $150 per activity
- Multiple Activity Provider (MAP): $500
Upon completion of the online application, applicants will be directed to a secure page to make payment. Fees are nonrefundable and must be paid in full before the application is reviewed.
