The final step for eligible professionals to earn their Certified Wellness Practitioner™ (CWP™) credentials is to pass the certification exam. Carefully review the information below as you prepare to take this important step in your professional development.
What to Expect
- The CWP exam is administered in English only via the Wellness Alliance Learning Center.
- The exam may be completed online at any time during the two-week examination period.
- Once a candidate begins their online exam, they will have four (4) hours to complete all 150 exam questions.
- Testing attempts are limited to one per testing examination period.
- Candidates who do not achieve a passing score may retake the exam at a reduced rate during a new testing period within 12 months of their initial attempt.

All exam rates include a $60 nonrefundable application fee. The individual taking the exam must register under their own Wellness Alliance account. If you do not have one, you may create an account now.
Council on Wellness Certification Excellence (CWCE)
The Council on Wellness Certification Excellence (CWCE) continually reviews and maintains CWP certification standards. The Council serves as the decision-making body to evaluate, provide oversight, and give guidance on CWP policies and procedures, and sets eligibility criteria and recertification requirements.
