CWP Recertification & Continuing Education
To maintain your certification, you must recertify by the end of your certification cycle by paying the current recertification fee and documenting the required number of continuing education (CE) credits earned during that cycle. View our CWP Recertification page for additional details.
Use the CEC submission form to enter Continuing Education Credits (CE) credits earned by participating in Category 2 continuing education activities (not pre-approved by the CWCE) or Category 1 credits for academic coursework completed. Documentation of hours and attendance is required for each event. Upon approval, CE credits will be applied toward CWP recertification. Note: CE credit earned through Category 1 CE activities will be automatically entered in your Professional Development Journal.
Professional Development Journal
Check your Professional Development Journal to see how many CE credits you have earned toward recertification. You can also save or print your CWP certificate there.
