2:00 PM - 3:00 PM ET

Free to Wellness Alliance members.

Across cultures and throughout history, communities have understood something that modern wellness practice is just beginning to rediscover: Grief is communal. This webinar invites wellness professionals into an expanded understanding of grief support—one that may include rapid response and clinical interventions, while also embracing the power of community-based practices that foster belonging, connection, and resilience.

Participants will explore how wellness professionals working across diverse settings can create accessible, compassionate spaces for courageous conversations that bring grief out of isolation and into supportive environments ready to heal. Practical and inspiring in equal measure, this session is designed for practitioners seeking to deepen their grief literacy and broaden their vision of how wellness can support individuals, teams, and communities through loss and change.

Learning Objectives

  • Discuss the public health and wellness case for community grief tending as a strategy for building belonging and social resilience.
  • Identify at least three community grief tending practices applicable across workplace wellness, coaching, healthcare, community, and educational settings.
