Webinar
From Moral Strain to Ethical Health: A New Frontier in Workplace Wellness Practice
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM ET
Free to Wellness Alliance members.
Join a diverse panel of experts for a discussion on moral injury. The panel will describe growing research and solutions related to moral strain and injury for working adults. They will approach the topic through a positive lens of “ethical health” as a possible wellness solution. Perspectives will cover individual-level impact as well as the role of social harm, mistreatment and institutional betrayal.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Differentiate moral distress, injury and stress with clinically relevant markers
- Summarize what recent high-quality evidence says about prevalence, correlation, measurement and impacts of moral distress
- Identify at least three evidence-based interventions (individual and team/organizational) that reduce moral distress or strengthen ethical climate.
